I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. I want to be blogging over this summer for sure, though I'm having a hard time figuring out which social media sites to post what.

I'm working on photographing places, since I love to travel. This is the city my father lives in now, and it's so much fun to go up and visit him. You can walk from one end of the city to the other without much problem. There is an amazing fun little street that has lots of shops and bars and my personal favorite, coffee. Also, fun fact. The Avengers and Captain America 2 were filmed here. I know of the second one because on my search for coffee one morning when I was visiting my dad, I got lost and ended up on set of the movie. I'll add a few fun pictures of the set at the end as well.

This is one of my favorite streets. It was really nice right after it rained to get such a vibrate reflection.

Something amazing about this city is the amount of bridges that can be seen from one spot. I counted up to eight, and a good portion no longer work. But they didn't tear them down. Instead they left hem up as a part of architecture. Some even have ivy growing over them now, it's beautiful.

This is the red bridge that circles and I am determined to ride on it and watch a ship go by. It will happen.

Set! I wasn't actually allowed to take pictures really so I ran on and off set. I actually walked in between takes for a good portion of the day, just to see it. It was quite extraordinary. If you look at the nice lighting platform they have, underneath is a flipped over car. This was the end of the car chase scene and for most of the between takes I walked through, it was smoking and on fire.

I even saw The Winter Solider (or his body double)

Destroyed DC police car. The reason I got lost that day was because they took down all the street signs, because they were saying this was DC not Cleveland Ohio. Because of that, I had zero idea where I was. I am so thankful, it was so much fun to just run through this set!

Those cars aren't moving, they're placed on set and all the license plates have been changed to DC ones. It was really, super awesome.
